Liam Payne not only confirmed Louis Tomlinson's baby daddy rumors in a new interview (there's been a debate over whether it's been edited though), he's also been talking about One Direction's love for former bandmate Zayn Malik.
If you thought there were any kind of hard feelings between the guys, think again, as Liam told BBC Radio 1's Nick Grimshaw: "Congratulations to him on his new record deal and stuff, it's cool."
As for their friendship, well...the brotherhood continues, even though Zayn isn't with the group any more. As Liam put it: "There's too much history for there not to be love."
Yes. History. That.
Don't forget, Liam recently gave a shoutout to Zayn when 1D celebrated 5 years (and Zayn responded), plus Zayn also tweeted about how "proud" he is of the guys' new song.
Liam also gave a little insider info on why Zayn left the band, explaining: "One Direction was never Zayn's sort of music so he kind of always wanted to find something else. If your heart's not into something you can't just carry on doing it because of fame and stuff. You have to go and do what you want to do."
Liam dished to Magic Radio's Jo Parkerson that he was "dead excited to hear" Zayn's new music. Aww.
He added: "He's got a great voice and he's a very talented young man, and we wish him all the best of luck."
